I have been a demonstrator with Gold Canyon since January of 2003. During this time I have seen many positive changes in the company and have always LOVED the beliefs and principles of Gold Canyon. I am so happy that I have been blessed to belong to a company like this that allows me to focus on the Basics of Life.
Gold Canyon believes in the Basics of Life by contributing thousands of dollars each year to children's charities. Our Prayer Child Foundation helps children and families of children that are suffering from disease,neglect,abuse and many other hardships.
Gold Canyon allows any of us to follow our dreams. A Little About Me
I am a retired teacher of 20 years. I left the classroom in order to homeschool my son. Tragedy had struck our family in 1996. We were involved in a serious car accident that only by the grace of God are any of us still alive, but especially our son. We are all blessed although our son has a traumatic brain injury from the accident,today he is just like any other 20 year old. God has made our family much stronger through this and no matter what difficulties we face, we are reminded of how blessed and thankful we are.
I started selling Gold Canyon in 2003 and business was really growing! It is so easy to sell a product you LOVE! August 27,2005 we needed to evacuate from the path of Hurricane Katrina. She blew through on August 29th and left flood waters several feet deep throughout our entire house. It was weeks before we could return to our devastated property in Metairie, LA. A lifetime of memories destroyed! It was not easy watching your "life" thrown on the street waiting for trash collectors. BUT, this too has made us stronger and we truly appreciate the Basics of Life! It is now 27 months later and we are still displaced however my GC business has continued to grow and flourish. What a great business opportunity to have that I have been able to continue with it even after a disaster!
Profitable Fundraisers!
Our fundraisers are an excellent opportunity for groups or individuals to raise funds they need. My team of demonstrators has done several but a few really stand out. One young lady raised money to pay her way down to the Gulf Coast with her youth group to help with the devastation of Katrina. Another young man has done a few of the fundraisers to help fund things needed for Boy Scouts and a dancing school that had less than 30 sellers made a profit of over $2700.00 to help with their fees, etc.
